Randi became the owner of Hair of the Dog in June 2021. She is passion for grooming extends beyond just the technical skills - she values the bond and relationship she builds with each furry client. She believes in creating a comfortable and stress-free environment for the dogs in the salon, ensuring a positive grooming experience for both the pets and their owners.

In addition to her grooming expertise, Randi is also an advocate for the deaf awareness and empowerment. She actively promotes inclusivity and understanding within the community, breaking down barriers and stereotypes associated with deaf individuals.

Outside of her professional life, Randi enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking with her family and Rottweiler dogs companion, exploring nature trails, or simply soaking up the sun at a local park. She finds solace and joy in the beauty of the natural world, and it serves as a source of inspiration and rejuvenation for her.

Randi's journey as a business owner, dog groomer, and advocate is a testament to her resilience, determination, and passion for making a positive impact in both the pet grooming industry and the deaf community.

She has been a passionate and experienced pet stylist with a keen eye for artistry with seven years of experience under her belt, Jully a top-notch stylist who is certified in "fear free" handling techniques. She has a special talent for transforming dogs with pet-safe dyes, creating funky and wild looks that are sure to turn heads. she understand the importance of making your furry friend look and feel their best. Whether it a simple trim or a bold new color, she been dedicated to providing top-notch grooming services that will leave your pet looking and feeling fabulous. With years of experience and a passion for animals, you can trust her to take great care of your beloved pet.

While Jully is not at salon, she enjoys being actively in outdoor activities with her daughter. They enjoy some leisure time with their pets Strawberry, the dragon bearded and Nala, the kitten at their cozy home.

Amanda Robinson "Maps"

Pet Stylist/Colorist

Maps, 4 years 'rufferee' of the grooming world! With a pair of trusty shears in one hand and a sign language dictionary in the other, she is here to prove that you don't need ears to create paw-some hairstyles.

As a deaf groomer, she have mastered the art of silent communication and developed a sixth sense for sniffing out tangled for and stubborn knots. Who needs verbal cues when you have get wagging tails and enthusiastic woofs to guide you?

She is specializing in grooming pups of all shape, size and woof-abilities, she is here to ensure that every doggo leaves salon looking and feeling like the top dog they are. From dapper schnauzer 'states' to glamorous poodle-pom-poms! She will have your furry friends strutting their stuff in no time.
